Finally! A Green Lantern movie!
Green Lantern was one of my favorite superheros when I was growing up. I made my own ring with a cheap plastic ring I got from Roy Rogers, a small disk from a toy gun, and some glue. I never did make that unitard.
I hope this movie is about Hal Jordan. He was my favorite, not just because he had that premature gray hair at his temples. They really tortured his character in the comic books and eventually killed him off. I'm glad he's back (like we really thought anyone in comic books could stay dead).
I have been waiting this movie for quite some time now. When I first heard that Warner Bros. was going to make a Green Lantern movie with Jack Black, I almost threw up. Their idea of the movie was to make it like "The Mask" as a comedy. I'm SO glad they ditched that.
From Towleroad:
Gay writer/director Greg Berlanti (Everwood, Broken Hearts Club) has signed on to co-write and direct a live-action feature film adaptation of DC Comics' superhero comic Green Lantern.
I'm happy about this, too! He was always my favorite as a kid, along with The Flash... I was always a DC kinda guy.

Yes, I always like it when they teamed up . I liked both DC and Marvel. Seems like Marvel's been doing better lately with the movie end.
