I'm a "Remastered" junkie. Yes, I admit it, but I know that I'm not alone in the world. There are other out there who also appreciate how much detail is uncovered in recordings once an album has been properly mastered (I won't go into the atrocity that is known as late 80s mastering, which was typically done too quickly just to get old albums onto CDs for the marketplace). Beside having a noticeable sonic improvement, many remastered album include bonus tracks. I mean, who wouldn't want Kajagoogoo's demo where Limahl gets hair product in his eye while he's singing?!
So...I can't begin to tell you how excited I was to get all the remastered Cocteau Twins albums when they came out. The Cocteau Twins was among my favorite bands in the 90s. I was a little disappointed that no b-sides were included in the new releases, but I though a properly remastered CD would surely realize the brilliance of their layered sound. Maybe I could even understand the lyrics a little more! Not!
So, press play and sing along with me! Yea, I know these aren't the lyrics, but can YOU understand what she's saying?!

One of my favorite songs by them. This appears to be the single edit.
