An interesting development. I have always thought there was something fishy about having to turn off all electronic devices when taking off in a plane. How in the world would my little iPod or a cell phone potentially be dangerous? And if it truly were dangerous, doncha think that the airline staff, not to mention the FAA, would be a little more stringent in enforcing the "shutoff"?
And as we know, cell phones were used in abundance on the planes that eventually crashed on 9/11. And it certainly wasn't the cell phones that made those planes crash.
Lo and behold, Delta announced that they are going to offer wi-fi service on its US flights. Unless I am missing something, it seems as if, when a buck can be made, cell phones and computers apparently are not a hazard in flight anymore!
And I heard that they started a policy where if the flight attendant smiles at you, that will cost you $1.50.

Yea, and they are going to continue to give you free drinks, but now you have to pay to use the bathroom.
