WASHINGTON (AP) -- President George W. Bush claimed to have inherited a recession that in fact began on his watch in a legacy-polishing news conference Monday often at odds with his record.

Obviously, it would be a full-time job to fact check everything Bush has said on record. Thankfully, there are a lot of bloggers out there keeping track.
